10 Career Summary as Alternative to Resume Objectives

Even though it is not mandatory, stating your resume objectives is never a bad idea. In fact, it can strengthen your resume, thus making it stand out among your competitors. There are many resume objectives examples you can refer as a guideline when composing yours, but there is also an alternative to your “Objective” section.

It is a “Career Summary” section. As an alternative to resume objectives, career summary is composed to provide a brief overview of you and what you do. Either way, it’s an interesting way to grab the employer’s attention quickly. After all, remember that you tend to have only 25 seconds to create the right impression.
