10 Resume Layout Tips and Tricks

Your resume layout is as important as its content. Professional resume layout samples show that how you present your resume can determine how effective and efficient it is to represent your skills and qualifications. Start by leaving at least 1” margins and leave black space between sections. This way, distinct information can be seen.

Use only two font types at most but be sure they complement each other. Use one for headings and another one for the body text. And avoid using underlining; sparingly use bolding and italics instead. And to draw focus on your skills and accomplishments effectively, use bullet points in your resume layout. Last but not least, be consistent.
